As you know, the PTG launched a new initiative this
year by hosting a school assembly for the entire student body. On
October 26, the Carnegie Science Center showcased their Rockin' Robots.
To the PTG’s delight, we received cards of thanks from the students! The
students made us Thank You Cards to convey how much they liked
learning about the robots and seeing them in person. This was a reward
for the PTG, and it reinforced the success of the event. We are thrilled
to receive the positive comments and in return we say, “You are
welcome.”
Since Rockin' Robots was such a success, the PTG is
pleased to announce that we will host another school assembly in the
Spring! We are in the process of selecting the program, but we promise
that it will be innovative and above all fun. |
At the beginning of the year, the PTG made a
commitment to ensure effective communication regarding fundraising
activities. We are pleased to report that we are in the process of
working with Ellen Kline to create our first Fundraising Report. We
anticipate releasing the report on Wednesday, November 23. Make sure to
check your white envelope.
We continue to hear ideas and suggestions from
many parents. We appreciate all of the input and ask that you continue
to share your thoughts. And, remember comments and suggestions can be
sent anonymously by putting a note in an envelope labeled attention
