From Downtown Pittsburgh using I-279 North

  • Take I-279 North from Pittsburgh (Parkway North)

  • Exit at the McKnight Road/Evergreen Exit

  • Take the McKnight Road Ramp - Follow McKnight Road

  • Turn right at the fifth traffic signal which is Siebert Road

  • Take Siebert Road to the end and Turn Right which is Thompson Run Road

  • Make a quick left after the 7-Eleven on to Vilsack Road

  • Go Through the stop sign

  • At the traffic signal make a right onto Mt. Royal Blvd.

  • Two blocks on the right you will see the Church and the school is directly behind the Church.

From South Hills of Pittsburgh (Route 51), Mt. Washington, South Side 

  • if you are coming from the South Hills take the Liberty Bridge to I-579 to I-279 

  • Exit at the McKnight Road/Evergreen Exit

  • Take the McKnight Road Ramp - Follow McKnight Road

  • Turn right at the fifth traffic signal which is Siebert Road

  • Take Siebert Road to the end and Turn Right which is Thompson Run Road

  • Make a quick left after the 7-Eleven on to Vilsack Road

  • Go Through the stop sign

  • At the traffic signal make a right onto Mt. Royal Blvd.

  • Two blocks on the right you will see the Church and the school is directly behind the Church.

From the Airport or Green Tree Area

  • take I-279 North

  • Exit at the McKnight Road/Evergreen Exit

  • Take the McKnight Road Ramp - Follow McKnight Road

  • Turn right at the fifth traffic signal which is Siebert Road

  • Take Siebert Road to the end and Turn Right which is Thompson Run Road

  • Make a quick left after the 7-Eleven on to Vilsack Road

  • Go Through the stop sign

  • At the traffic signal make a right onto Mt. Royal Blvd.

  • Two blocks on the right you will see the Church and the school is directly behind the Church.

From Downtown Pittsburgh using Route 28 North

  • Take Route 28 North from Downtown Pittsburgh

  • Use the Etna Exit (Route 8 North Butler)

  • Turn left at the traffic signal

  • Go across the Railroad crossing and turn right on to Mt. Royal Blvd.

  • You will be on this road for about 4 miles, you will go through a traffic light and pass Shaler Intermediate School --- about a 1 mile after you pass Shaler Intermediate School, Saint Bonaventure Church and School will be on your left

  • Go Through the stop sign

  • At the stop light make a right onto Mt. Royal Blvd.

  • Two blocks on the right you will see the Church and the school is directly behind the Church.

From Northern Areas (Wexford or Cranberry) using I-279

  • take I-279 South to the Perrysville Exit

  • upon exiting go straight through the traffic signaled intersection (onto Cemetery Lane, you will be on this road for about 2-3 miles)

  • at the end of Cemetery Lane, turn right onto Babcock Blvd.

  • In about a mile you will go under an overpass (McKnight Road) ---- at the next traffic signal turn left onto Thompson Run Road (A gas station and Monte Cello's Restaurant will be a this intersection.

  • Turn Right onto Vilsack Road - which is the third right turn.

  • Go Through the stop sign

  • At the traffic signal make a right onto Mt. Royal Blvd.

  • Two blocks on the right you will see the Church and the school is directly behind the Church.

From Northern Areas (Gibsonia or Butler) using Route 8 South

  • take Route 8 South towards Pittsburgh

  • turn right onto Mt. Royal Blvd.

  • Take Mt. Royal Blvd for about 6 miles (this road has many curves and cross-overs) and Saint Bonaventure Church and School will be on your right
