Lunch Program Guidelines

All lunch money must be accompanied by a Lunch Ticket Form. (link is below).  The lunch form is our only record of your purchase.  If a lunch ticket is lost this is our only way to trace your student's purchase.

The school is not responsible for lost tickets and will only replace lost tickets if a Lunch Ticket Form is on file.

Please send all Lunch Ticket purchases to your child's homeroom.  The envelope should be clearly marked LUNCH TICKET MONEY and include your child's name and homeroom number on the envelope.  DO NOT SEND LUNCH TICKET FORMS or MONEY TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE.

Lunch Ticket Rules

Lunch ticket reminders are sent home when a student has 2 or less lunches/milks left.  Please check your child's folder/backpack on a regular basis for these reminders.

In the event that a student no longer has lunch money left on his/her ticket they will be given a 2 day grace period, if on the third day a lunch ticket has not been purchased, your child will call home and the parent will be responsible for bringing either a packed lunch or lunch ticket money to the school by 10:30 am.  All owed monies will also be due on that day.

Students in Grades 5 - 8
During homeroom period each morning students are to turn in their lunch money to their homeroom teacher.  If a student does not have any lunch money left on their ticket and has forgotten to bring money that day, he/she is to ask their homeroom teacher for a Lunch IOU ticket.  The student will still receive a lunch ticket for that day but this will be considered the first of the 2 day grace period.

If a student does not request an IOU during homeroom and comes to the library for a lunch ticket after 10:30 am, the student will receive a check on their behavior card.  Ultimately the student is responsible for his/her lunch ticket not the homeroom teacher.
