The Program
St. Bonaventure School offers a full service hot lunch program for its K - 8 students.  The daily meal includes a main item, vegetable, fruit, dessert, and milk.  Milk is served with all lunches.  Water cannot be substituted but students may purchase water as an additional item for 50 cents.  Students may substitute the main item for chicken nuggets.  An alternative main item (typically a hot dog or chicken patty sandwich) is also available very day.

POS System
The School cafeteria uses a Point of Sale (or debit) system for food/drink purchases.  Each student has an assigned PIN number with which they can access their accounts.  When the PIN number is entered, a picture of the student appears on the screen to verify that the correct student is purchasing cafeteria items.  PIN numbers are assigned to students upon entrance to St. Bonaventure school and stay the same thru 8th grade.

Deposits
Deposits must be made in advance to each student's account.  Checks and cash are acceptable.  Checks are to be made out  St. Bonaventure Cafeteria.  Deposits should be sent in an envelope marked with "Cafeteria Money"- Attn:  Mrs. Gallagher and labeled with the student's name and homeroom number.  All cafeteria money is to be turned in to a student's homeroom teacher during morning homeroom period.  Cafeteria accounts are updated prior to 9:15 each morning.  Money will not be added to a student's account after 9:15 am.

Notification
Parents will be advised of account balances via letters, emails and/or text messages when a student's account reaches $2.00 or less.  The system allows a student to purchase milk or lunch up to -$3.00.  Ala Carte purchases are not permitted once a student's account becomes negative.  Once an account reaches -$3.00, students will be asked to call home for a parent or guardian to bring money or a lunch to school by 11:00 am.

5 - 8 lunch $3.00
Ala Carte .50 - $1.50 (only for 5 - 8 students)
Beverages  .50
